Hello!
As you’ll have guessed, our building is closed at the moment. However, we’ve been able to move a lot of our activities onto Zoom. We’re keen to keep in touch as best we can and help out in any way.
Please see a summary below of activities going on for different groups:
Quantum Children:
Zoom calls approx weekly for games and movies together with Tara and the other leaders.
Over’s Group (on Zoom):
Coffee Morning on Mondays at 11am
Bible study based on a Max Lucado series called ‘Anxious for Nothing’ on Wednesdays at 7.30pm
Friday Activity at 11am e.g. aerobics, cookery demos and virtual outings!
Lots phone call chats and house calls for essentials too!
Men’s Shed:
It’s tough for the Shed as their new premises was just built in March and they can’t visit! However, the guys are still keeping in touch over phone, Whatsapp and email.
Ignite:
We’re continuing to meet on Zoom every Sunday at 11am for music, prayer, chat and a message from the Bible. It’s been working great so far!
We’ve a prayer meeting on a Tuesday at 11am and different Bible study groups during the week too.
On the Ignite Facebook Group you’ll find a story read by a different person from Ignite each Monday, Wednesday and Friday too.
As time goes on we’ll adjust our activities to suit the needs out there. It’s one week at a time for the most part at the moment!
